Hardware Support: Connecting a LocoBuffer-NG or LocoBuffer-USB to LocoNet®

LocoBuffer-USB image

The LocoBuffer-NG or LocoBuffer-USB provide a very reliable way to connect a computer to a LocoNet®. They are produced by Dick Bronson's RR-CirKits company, based in part on the original LocoBuffer design.

LocoBuffer-USB Power

The LocoBuffer-USB completely isolates your computer from the LocoNet, removing the possibility of ground currents flowing through the LocoNet cable. It receives its power partially from the LocoNet RailSync lines and the rest from your computer via the USB cable.
